Aiming to improve the energy metering system at the grid intersection, Penza energy sector professionals reconstructed Mokshan Substation with the capacity of 110/35/10 kV. In particular, a new measuring equipment was installed on Mokshan-Novaya 100 kV aerial line, which consists of gas-insulated transformers TRG 110 II*U1. The total cost of all operations, including the materials was RUR 1,869,000. Mokshan 110/35/10 substation was launched in 1971. This is the major substation in Mokshansky District of Penza Region. The substation provides energy to population, industrial enterprises, and social and cultural establishments, as well as carries out transit of energy supplies over its distribution channels.
