Acquisition of this certificate was preceded by extensive work of metrologists of Chuvashenergo branch. In particular, they have prepared all the necessary technical documents, up-to-date regulatory and methodical materials on the issues of integration and required precision of measurements, etc. All the specialists have passed training courses of the Federal agency for technical regulation and metrology and were attested in the duly established order. Work results were evaluated by a committee which included metrologists from Ekaterinburg, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg, Kazan and Cheboxary.

Committee members have confirmed technical competence of the branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC, Chuvashenergo as a basic organization of the metrological services which makes it possible to plan and coordinate the work of metrological services of manufacturing departments of the subsidiary of the IDGC of Volga, JSC, Chuvashenergo, to realize metrological surveillance over the state and application of measurement means, over the attested methods for executing measurements, standard measures which are applied for calibration of measuring units, organize and hold training, career advancement and certification of employees in the field of metrology, to carry out expert analysis of specifications, project, construction and technological documents, standards and other regulatory documents, including those in the sphere of measuring information systems.

The Commission had made a decision to accredit Chuvashenergo, branch of the IDGC of Volga, JSC, as a BOMS for the term of 5 years. All of this is confirmed by the Accreditation certificate of the BOMS for Chuvashenergo, the branch of the IDGC of Volga, JSC, which the enterprise was granted on the 2nd of November 2009.
