The Branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC - Saratov Distribution Grids continues reconstruction of Saratovka - 1 110/6 kV substation. At present, the fence has been replaced; a 110 kV overhead line has been reconstructed, with installation of a new anchor support; an oil receiver and foundation for a new transformer have been constructed; a complex 6 kV distributing device with nine K-59 cells has been mounted.

By the end of the current year, power engineers are going to mount a new transformer for 16 MVA, whereupon the substation's total transformer capacity will be 26 MVA. New vacuum and microprocessor equipment will ensure reliable power supply for consumers, lowered fire and explosive hazards and operating costs. The increase in the transformer capacity will facilitate the possibility of connecting new consumers. After reconstruction, Saratovka - 1 substation will ensure power supply for a logistics center, which will be constructed in the Engelsskiy District. The reconstruction is expected to be completed in December of this year.
