Branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC - Saratov Distribution Grids is continuing to reconstruct grid sectors facilities in Saratov region. So works at two power transmission lines (PTL) with the voltage of 10 kilovolt from substation “Svyatoslavovka” are being made in Samoilovsk region.

The PTL works will include the following: 340 new supports of SV-105 type and 60 kilometers of conductor AS-50 will be installed, and 15 transformer substations will be replaces at these PTL which have the total length 20 kilometers. The estimated cost of works amounts to RUR 13 million. Over 100 supports have been already installed by the present time.

The reconstruction program execution will result in the reliability increase of power supply and establishment of conditions for the further development of 9 population aggregates which accommodates about 1,800 people. Beside apartment houses, social sphere facilities, communal and production infrastructure: medical stations, schools, clubs, bakeries, post offices, water towers, peasant and farm households are provided with stable power supply.

The installation of new equipment at substation “Svyatoslavovka” is also planned in the current year.

In total IDGC of Volga, JSC plans to invest RUR 1 billion 200 million in the development of the grid sector of Saratov region in 2008.
