In the framework of the investment program for 2008 Penza powermen hold the reconstruction and technical re-equipment of power transmission lines in Kuznetsk, Kamensk, and Nizhnelomovsk regions.

Power transmission lines (30.9 km) were replaced in the 1st quarter of 2008.

In particular, the conductor at OL lines-110 kilovolt Pachelma – Vadinsk was changed, as well as OL-10 kilovolt feeder #18 Vyunki from substation “Narovchat” accompanied by supports replacement; the technical re-equipment of OL- 04 kilovolt by the self-bearing insulated conductor which has many advantages compared to standard aluminium one.

The cost of works exceeded RUR 20 million.

Let us remind that Penzaenergo branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC plans to attract in 2008 over RUR 460 million of investments.
