In 2008 IDGC of Volga, JSC plans to invest RUR 1 billion 204 million in the grid sector of Saratov region.
The most significant funds are planed to be allocated for the construction of new power transmission lines and substations.
It is planned to spend RUR 161 million 806 thousand for the construction of power transmission lines.
Power transmission lines with the voltage from 0.4 to 110 kilovolt will be constructed. The largest scale are projects of the construction of lines of 110-kilovolt Bazarniy Karabulak – Baltai, the length of which will amounts to 34 kilometers, Heat Station – Secha with the length about 16 kilometers, lines Novouzensk-Pogranichnoe with the voltage of 35 kilovolt.
The current year the construction works at substations “Vostok”, “Khoper”, “Shirokiy Buerak”, “Ust Kurdyum”, and “Severnaya” are continued. This year RUR 333 million 870 thousand will be directed for these goals. The implementation of the planned arrangements will make it possible to increase the reliability of the regional grid sector and will provide infrastructure conditions for the economic development of the Saratov region.
