Uralkali has approved the program of New Year events for the company personnel and their children and allocated 1,335 thousand rubles for its realization.
During the school vacation ten gala performances with the participation of actors from the Ekaterinburg operetta theater will be given for the children of Uralkali workers at Uralkali's Palace of Culture. The performances will be attended by almost two thousand children. Over seven thousand children aged from one to 14 years will receive New Year gifts from the Ekaterinburg confectionery KONFI. Uralkali has allocated about 750 thousand rubles for these purposes.
In addition to this, 150 children of Uralkali workers will spend the winter vacation at the children's health-improving camp organized in Uralkali's sanatorium. The company has bought 36 vouchers for a children's camp in the health resort Ust-Kachka and signed contracts with the Berezniki travel and tour agency, allocating 250 thousand rubles for organization of tourist trips for children. During the New Year vacation 90 school children will visit Perm, 30 children Ekaterinburg. For the first time this year the children of Uralkali workers will go for a trip around the Golden Ring of Russia, which will take them to Vladimir, Suzdal, Gus-Khrustalny, Sergiev Posad and Moscow.
For the company workers Uralkali's Palace of Culture has prepared New Year shows, which will begin on December 16 with the performance of the operetta "The Bat" ("The Fledermous"). In accordance with the tradition the Palace of Culture will organize New Year's Eve concert-parties.
By December 25, a snow city will arise on the square in front of the Palace of Culture. It will be built by the Berezniki Mine Construction Department using 120 thousand rubles allocated for the purpose by Uralkali. At the same time, large Christmas trees will be set up at the Palace of Culture and on the square in front of it.
