Uralkali (Berezniki, Perm Territory) announces its production results for October 2008 and the first 10 months of 2008.

In October Uralkali produced 420.9 thousand tonnes of potassium chloride, which is a 5.8% decrease on October 2007 (446.8 thousand tonnes). The company’s overall output since the beginning of the year is 4450.4 thousand tonnes of potassium chloride – a 5.8% increase compared to the same period last year (4203.1 thousand tonnes).
