Uralkali announces its decision to set the upper price limit for potash fertilizers intended for direct application by Russian farmers at 3,700 roubles per tonne (FCA, exclusive of packaging) in H1 2009, which is effectively equates to its production expenses forecasted for the relevant group of consumers. The announcement is made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Cooperation Agreement for supplying mineral fertilizers to Russian agricultural producers in 2008–2012, signed on October 17, 2008 by the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers (of which Uralkali is one of the founders) and Russian Agro-Industrial Union.
