Yesterday the products of Uralkali (Berezniki, Perm Territory) were auctioned on the Saint-Petersburg Universal Trade Stock Exchange "Umex". During the auction, 22.5 tons of potassium chloride were sold for 12400 rubles per ton. This was the entire volume of the Uralkali consignment released for the auction.

This is the eleventh time Uralkali has offered its products at auction in 2008. Since the beginning of the auctions in 2008, Uralkali has sold 133 000 tons of potassium chloride for 1207.03 million rubles. In 2007-2008, the company has sold a total of 187.5 tons of potassium chloride at the Universal Trade Stock Exchange "Umex" (Saint-Petersburg) and the Moscow Stock Exchange (MSE, Moscow) for a total price of 1407.21 million rubles.
