Ekaterinburg – November 3, 2004 – Over 9M 2004 the revenues under Russian Accounting

Standards totaled RUR 17,327.4 mln, a 26% up on the similar period of 2003.

The revenue as of 3Q 2004 increased 6% compared to 2Q 2004, amounting to

RUR 6,060.7 mln.

For the period, EBITDA totaled RUR 6,185.7 mln, a 17% increase on 9M 2003.

Net profit increased 13% to equal RUR 1,574.6 mln.

As of November 1, 2004 Uralsvyazinform served 3.3 mln fixed-line subscribers, 1.9 mln

GSM subscribers.
