Far East Telecom hereby announces its intention to conduct a survey to find out how the company is viewed by the investment community.

According to Far East Telecom’s deputy general director Alexander Zheludkov, his company’s management fully understands the importance of the investment community confidence in the company and makes concerted efforts to raise its market capitalization and enhance its investment appeal. Committed to meeting current market requirements, the Company is active in improving its corporate governance standards and making its financial reports more transparent.

Therefore it is of overriding importance for the Company to know the opinions of those who analyze the Company’s activities, invest their funds in it and pin certain hopes on it. The poll, currently under way, will enable the company to take into account all the difficulties investors have faced when looking for information about the company.
