As of January 31, 2003North West Telecom had paid out Rub 73,535,324.82 in 2003 dividends on both common and preferred shares.

The decision to execute the payout, as well as the amount and the ex-dividend date (December 31, 2003) was approved at a general shareholders meeting of North West Telecom.

Dividend payout amounts for 2002 are as follows:

•         on common shares – Rub 0.064 per share;  

•          on preferred shares – Rub 0.144 per share. 

The total amount of dividend paid out on shares by the company amounts to Rub 75,381,892.528.  Thus, dividends constitute 97.5% of the total income subject to payout.  The rest of dividends were not paid out due to shareholders that failed to provide payout information.

Even though the ex-dividend date for 2002 has been reached, payouts for this and preceding years will continue.
