Under a resolution passed by the Anti-Monopoly Ministry on December 18, 2001 new tariffs are to be charged for telecom services extended to households, businesses and budget organizations located in the Perm Region, effective January 1, 2001.

 Households

The fixed line installation charge for residential customers will be Rub 80 per month under the subscribers' hook-up plan.

The fixed line installation charge for residential customers will be Rub 72 per month under the subscribers' per-minute billing plan.

The maximum period of time allowable under the per-minute billing system is 300 minutes per month.

The charge for one full or incomplete minute of telephone calls made above and beyond the above-mentioned limit will be 16 kopecks. 

Budgetary organizations

The fixed line installation charge will be Rub 130 per month under the subscribers' hook-up plan.

The fixed line installation charge will be Rub 117 per month under the subscribers' per-minute billing plan.

The maximum period of time allowable under the per-minute billing system is 150 minutes per month.

The charge for one full or incomplete minute of telephone calls made above and beyond the above-mentioned limit will be 8 kopecks. 

Tariffs long-distance calls are to be increased by an average of 20%.

 For businesses and budgetary organizations

Tariffs for most types of telecom services are to be increased by an average of 30%.
