Nizhegorodsvyazinform has approved new tariffs for several local telecom services, which are to become effective on January 1, 2002 in line with RF Government Resolution No. 715 of October 11, 2001 and Anti-Monopoly Ministry Order No. 1341 of December 18, 2001. 

The following rates are applicable to residential tariffs (prices are inclusive of VAT  and the sales tax):

The monthly telephone fee for subscribers in cities, urban district centers, and villages is Rub 84.  Subscribers entitled to discounts are to pay Rub 42.  The subscriber fee for rural locations is Rub 73.50 (Rub 36.75  for subscribers entitled to discounts).

Subscribers who switch over to per-minute billing should pay Rub 67.20 (Rub 33.60 for subscribers entitled to discounts).

There will be an additional fee of Rub 13.65 per each minute exceeding the limit of 300 minutes.

The following rates are applicable to legal entities (prices are VAT inclusive):

The monthly telephone fee is Rub 120. 

Subscribers who switch over to per-minute local billing should pay Rub 96 as of January 1, 2002. 

There will be an additional fee of Rub 13.00 per each minute exceeding the limit of 300 minutes.
