In 2001 OJSC Chelyabinsksvyazinform entered 39,512 lines into service. In addition, 235,700 km of new telephone lines were added on to the company's network. This was done by commissioning fiber optic telecom lines and completing SDM-4 VOLS equipment on the Chelyabinsk-Timeryazevsk route.
