OJSC Chelyabinsksvyazinform's revenue collection rate was 98% in 2001.  As of January 1, 2002 the company's telecom service receivables were equal to Rub 180.7 mn including VAT.  The company's current receivables cycle is less than one month.  

The company's total expenses incurred in 2001 stood at Rub 1,675.2 mn (up 47.2%).  In comparison with two years of opex not including depreciation charges, growth amounted to 41.2%.  Depreciation during the year increased 160% due to the acquisition of expense equipment.  The average weight of payroll in revenue stood at 20.8%.  

Balance sheet profit for the year stood at Rub 130.5 mn, which was down 5.1% year on year.  Net profit was up from Rub 68.7 mn to Rub 100 mn.

The company's 2001 revenue structure included 50.7% from long-distance traffic, 28.8% from local traffic, 9.3% from CDMA, 2.9% from wire broadcasts, 5.8% from document transmission, including Internet - 3.68% and rural telephone traffic - 2.5%. 

In 2001 OJSC Chelyabinsksvyazinform entered 39,512 lines into service.  In addition, 235,700 km of new telephone lines were added on to the company's network.  This was done by commissioning fiber optic telecom lines and completing SDM-4 VOLS equipment on the Chelyabinsk-Timeryazevsk route.
