OJSC Central Telegraph held its annual general shareholders meeting on June 7, 2002.
Shareholders approved the annual financial statement, the annual accounting reports, including the company's profit and loss statement, allocation of profits and losses on results of fiscal 2001. Dividends for 2001 for type A preferred shares were fixed at Rub 146.88 and Rub 73.44 for type B preferred shares and Rub 68.96 for common shares. Dividends are to paid out from August 1, 2002 until the last day of December 2002.
The following appointments were made to the Board of Directors:
1. S.P. Avdinyants - executive director / director of Economic and Tariff Policy Department of OJSC Svyazinvest;
2. R.A. Amaryan - director general of OJSC CenterTelecom;
3. V.E. Belov - vice director general of OJSC Svyazinvest;
4. A.V. Lopatin - vice director general of OJSC Svyazinvest;
5. V.A. Martirosyaz - director general of OJSC Central Telegraph;
6. P.V. Navoev - chief specialist of Telecom Department of OJSC Svyazinvest;
7. G.M. Figner - authorized representative of Taft Enterprises Limited.
ZAO Ernst & Young Vneshaudit was appointed as the company's 2002 auditor.
