The Company is implementing the “PETER-SERVICE HAS ACCESS MANAGER information unauthorized access protection tool”, a software product by JSC Peter-Service. It is certified by Russia’s Federal Technical and Export Control Service (RF FTECS.) It forms the core of the PETER-SERVICE SECURITY MANAGER software complex, which will ensure compliance of N.W.Telecom’s centralized information and billing system (CIBS) with the requirements for personal data protection provided by the Russian law.
The software product developed by JSC Peter-Service provides management of access to protected resources. To record the actions performed by users, PETER-SERVICE HAS ACCESS MANAGER provides acquisition and reservation of data on events occurring in the operation of CIBS. The product also monitors the integrity of information protection tool components.
PETER - SERVICE HAS ACCESS MANAGER is an important component of N.W.Telecom’s personal data protection system (PDPS), which is an integrated solution comprising a whole set of information systems and management actions.
By now, the N.W.Telecom Data Processing Center in St. Petersburg has installed and started for full-scale operation the PETER-SERVICE HAS ACCESS MANAGER software product, and has started the step-by-step switchover to the use of this product at the workstations of N.W.Telecom employees having various levels of access to CIBS. During the year 2011, the Company intends to complete the switchover of all users of N.W.Telecom CIBS to the use of the certified PETER-SERVICE HAS ACCESS MANAGER unauthorized access protection tool
