OJSC North-West Telecom is installing and connecting self-service terminals and ATMs of the Savings Bank of Russia in its Client Service Centres in the Northwestern Federal District in the framework of the Concept for Developing Payment Collection Channels for Subscribers of OJSC N.W.Telecom   and Optimizing Its Sales Network. As early as by the autumn of the current year, the number of up-to-date terminals and ATMs of the Savings Bank installed in points of sale and service of OJSC N.W.Telecom’s client s will increase from 90 to more than 160.

Payment for service s using terminals and ATMs is a modern and very common method of payment s collection, which significantly simplifies the procedure of payment and saves client 's personal time. When payment is effected using ATMs (over 40 units of the equipment are to be installed ), a wire transfer system operates – the monies will be written off from the subscriber ’s bank card account. Self-service terminals (more than 120 units of the equipment) imply both payment in cash and wire transfer*.

No commission is exacted from a client when payment for telecommunication service s is made using the payment devices of the Savings Bank. A subscriber may make a payment at any time convenient for him/her without waiting for a receipt. Information on a payment goes to the information and billing system of OJSC N.W.Telecom before or on the next working day after the payment is made.

ATMs and terminals may be used to pay simultaneously for local and intraareal telephone communication services, for the services of access to the Internet network of OJSC N.W.Telecom and for the services of long-distance and international communication provided by telecommunication operators**, and to effect other forms of payment, e.g.: for public utility service s and mobile communication.
