In January-February 2005, OJSC “Surgutneftegas” produced 10.035 million tons of oil compared to 9.375 million tons produced during the same period of 2004 (a 7% growth).

Gas production increased by over 3% to about 2.552 bn cubic meters against 2.468 bn cubic meters produced in January-February 2004. During the last two months of 2005, the Company processed 708 mn cubic meters of gas.

The Company drilled 479.3 thousand meters of rock against 477.6 thousand meters the same period of 2004, including 33.9 thousand meters of exploratory drilling performed within the period under review of 2005.

The Company launched 139 new wells.
