During eleven months of 2004, oil production in OJSC “Surgutneftegas” rose 10% to reach 54,173 thousand tons, compared to 49,228 thousand tons produced in January-November 2003.

Gas production increased by over 3% to about 13.26 bn cubic meters with 12.613 bn cubic meters of gas produced within 11 months of 2003. The Company processed about 3.748 bn cubic meters of gas in January-November 2004.

On the whole, OJSC “Surgutneftegas” drilled over 2,813 thousand meters of rock, including 199.9 thousand meters of exploratory drilling.

The Company commissioned 813 new wells.
