During the ten months of 2004, oil production in OJSC “Surgutneftegas” rose 10% to reach 49,120.6 thousand tons, compared to 44,627.5 thousand tons from the year-ago period.

Gas production increased by 3.4% to more than 11.8 bn cubic meters (11.4 bn cubic meters in the same period of 2003). The Company processed about 3.4 bn cubic meters of gas.

OJSC “Surgutneftegas” drilled over 2,562.9 thousand meters of rock, including 181.8 thousand meters of exploratory drilling.

The Company commissioned 744 new wells.
