During the nine months of 2004, oil production in OJSC “Surgutneftegas” reached 43,947 thousand tons, compared to 39,907 thousand tons from the year-ago period. Oil production rose 10%.

Gas production increased by ca. 3% to more than 10,540 mn cubic meters (10,258 mn cubic meters in the same period of 2003). The Company processed about 3,021 mn cubic meters of gas.

OJSC “Surgutneftegas” drilled over 2.2955 mn meters of rock, including 165.8 thousand meters of exploratory drilling.

In January – September 2004, the Company commissioned 669 wells.
