Moscow, December 8, 2011 – JSC SITRONICS (LSE:SITR), a leading supplier of solutions in the field of telecommunications, information technologies and microelectronics in Russia and CIS announces that its subsidiary OJSC Elion and Lumen Start Ltd. launch an LED lamps production line, which will be producing under the brand INNOLIGHTS.

December 8, 2011 – the Korean manufacturer of LED equipment Lumen Star and the leading Russian high-tech company SITRONICS launch an LED lams production line in Zelenograd on the facilities of Elion factory.

The company will be producing the up-to-date indoor lamps with the capacity from 7,5 W to 800 W, outdoor lamps (from 50 W to 240 W) and lights for the roads. The LED products of Lumen Star, apart from the products existing on the Russian market today, do not contain mercury and will have the average time of service more than 50 thousand hours. Also, the company will be manufacturing the infrastructure constructions of the new generation, for example, the edge pavement for prevention of accidents. The products of the joint venture under the brand INNOLIGHTS will be demanded in framework of the Federal and regional programs to ensure the traffic safety, and will be used for development of the city infrastructure and for equipping of new objects with power saving lamps.

“This project is in line with the national energy efficiency increase program, - commented the Vice-President of SITRONICS Mr. Vadim Melkumov. – Today, the Russian market has the LED lamps manufactured predominantly in China, which often have low quality. Korea is a global leader in LED technologies, therefore, the products of the joint venture will comply with the highest quality requirements and will allow to save up to 90 percent of electricity. We see good market for us and we plan to take 15% on the domestic market by the end of 2012”.
