Moscow, December 2, 2003.  The Sibneft website has been named the best corporate Internet site in Russia in two recent rankings of public companies,conducted by the RTS stock exchange, Russia’s main dollar-denominated bourse, and Webrankings 2003.

Organizers of the annual RTS website contestpresented Sibneft with a first place award for information disclosure and second place for design and navigation.  When scores for all nominations were tallied, Sibneft was chosen as having the best overall site among Russian corporations.

The annual Webrankings survey of European companies, published by the Financial Times, also ranked Sibneft’s as the best website in Russia and Eastern Europe.  The competition ranks sites for Europe’s 150 largest companies, and is based on a survey of 140 top financial analysts.

Sibneft’s successful showing in these two competitions is positive affirmation of the company’s information policy and adherence to international corporate standards.
