Segezha Packaging in Ploiești, Romania (Segezha Group, MOEX: SGZH, a subsidiary of Sistema PJSFC), received an award at The National Top of Companies 2021 event hosted by The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania. The company was classified at third position in the «Manufacture of corrugated paper and paperboard and of paper and paperboard packaging» category for medium sized businesses.

The National Top of Companies rating includes the best performing companies in seven fields of activity: industry; services; trade; tourism; research and development and high-tech; agriculture, forestry and fishing; as well as constructions.

According to organizers, this year’s ceremony is a “special edition, aiming to reward the companies, that contributed to the continuous growth to keep the engine of the local economy running despite the pandemic”. More than 700,000 active companies in Romania were analyzed for the ranking in 2021.

For Segezha Packaging Romania this is the first official and national recognize by The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania. It reaffirms the company’s commitment to excellence in financial performance and sustainable business growth.
