On 15 February 2005, Sberbank and Eksportfinans ASA signed the Cooperation Agreement to consolidate efforts in financing the import of Norwegian products and services to Russia.
The Agreement establishes long-term relationships between the two financial institutions and creates a basis for agreements on various projects and for mutual promotion of services in Norway and Russia.
The Agreement was signed at the 8th Session of the Russian-Norwegian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Industrial and Technical Co-operation in Oslo by Sberbank’s Chairman of the Board and CEO Andrei I. Kazmin and Eksportfinans ASA’s President & CEO Tor F. Johansen.
Efficient co-operation between Sberbank and Eksportfinans ASA gives Sberbank’s corporate clients a new tool to finance investment projects and mutual deliveries of services and products.
