Rostelecom, Russia's national long-distance telecommunications operator, always takes an active part in InfoCom exhibitions. This year, the Company’s booth is open for visitors not only in Moscow, but also in other regions, which host InfoCom-2005.
For Rostelecom the first exhibition event was presentation of its new fiber-optic line from Ufa to Orenburg. During a videoconference Moscow-Orenburg, the Governor of the Orenburg region Alexei Chernyshev was addressed with greetings by the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, the Minister for Information Technologies and Communications of the Russian Federation Leonid Reiman, the General Director of Svyazinvest Valery Yashin and the General Director of Rostelecom Dmitry Yerokhin.
At this year exhibition Rostelecom is featuring services for various groups of customers: telecom operators, corporate clients and residential subscribers.
Operators are offered the services Rostelecom provides at the federal level, such as leased line, domestic and international long-distance services, Europe-Asia transit service and many others.
For corporate customers Rostelecom offers its intelligent network services (Televoting, Freephone and the Karta Svyazy prepaid card) as well as Premium Rate, Videoconferencing and Home Country Direct services.
Residential subscribers are welcome to Rostelecom’s booth for the information concerning domestic and international long-distance services, Home Country Direct, Videoconferencing, Premium Rate services and also the services via Karta Svyazy – a universal prepaid card.
On September 29, there will be held an official ceremony of Rostelecom’s presentation with the certificate of conformity of its Quality Management System to the requirements of ???? ? ??? 9001-2001 (ISO 9001:2000). The Certificate will be presented to the Company by Irina Zhdankina, the Head of Svyaz-Sertificat Quality Systems Certification Body.
