In the course of a visit of an Italian delegation to Russia, Rosneft entered into two trilateral Agreements with MGIMO (Moscow Institute of International Relations), Gubkin Oil and Gas Institute and Politecnico di Torino to cooperate in the field of education and science.

The Agreements open opportunities for implementation of programs in the area of  higher and additional professional education as well as developing joint scientific, technical and innovation projects.

The parties noted the growing role that education and science play in the development of the oil and gas industry, as well as Rosneft's interest in world-class training of personnel, development and implementation of high technologies in the production process. The Agreements will provide for the following:

• joint educational programs of Italian and Russian universities for Company personnel;
• joint research and development, information and consulting services using university experts in areas that are in demand in the Company; 
• experience sharing, including in the development of technologies and innovations, as well as guidance and organizational support for innovation activities in joint round tables, meetings and conferences.

To arrange effective interaction of the parties in implementing the Agreements, joint working groups will be established on a parity basis.
