Staff changes at Rosneft

Staff changes have taken place in the Rosneft corporate management. Vice-Presidents Valeriy Borisenko, formerly in charge of Information technologies of the Company, and Alexei Kuznetsov, who was responsible for scientific affairs, development and strategic projects, have resigned.

The reason for both executives’ resignation was retirement.

In lieu of A. Kuznetsov and as acting Vice-President was appointed the Rosneft Director for scientific affairs and head of the Corporate scientific and technical center, Mars Khasanov. The Company IT segment is also to be transferred under the responsibility of the Vice-President for scientific affairs.

On December 3, the Rosneft Vice-President for refining and marketing, Alexander Sapronov, also tendered his resignation. This business segment will be temporarily transferred under the responsibility of the Vice-President Dmitry Bogdanov, in charge of the commercial block.

CAREER BACKGROUND

 

 

 

Valeriy Alexandrovich Borisenko was born in 1951. From 1992 to 1999 he led a number of companies specialized in satellite communications. From 1999 on, he is General Director of a Rosneft Subsidiary, ??? RN-Teleport. In February 2005 Borisenko is nominated Vice-President of Rosneft.

 

 

 

 

Alexei Mikhailovich Kuznetsov was born in 1951. From 1974 to 2000 he worked in oil and gas sector of the Sakhalin Island, having worked all the way up from rig operator to General Director of Rosneft ZAO Sakhalin projects subsidiary. Candidate of science, in April 2000 he was appointed Vice-President of Rosneft.

 

 

 

Mars Magnavievich Khasanov was born in 1955. Professor, Fellow of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the International Eastern Petroleum Academy. From 1978 to 1993 he worked in the Ufa petroleum university on positions from junior research associate to Professor of the Chair of higher mathematics. From 1993 to 2002 he led various scientific departments of YUKOS, and from 2002 to 2005 occupied the post of the Director for scientific affairs of YUKOS EP. In February 2005 he took up the post of the Director for scientific affairs of Rosneft.

 

 

 

Dmitry Yevgenievich Bogdanov was born in 1958. From 1993 to 1998 he worked in the oil industry, holding posts related to commercial business development in the area of oil and oil products. At Rosneft — from 1998 to 2006 — he was in charge of the Department of exports of oil and oil products, and in 2006 was appointed to the position of the Company Vice-President.

 

 

 

 

Alexander Alexeevich Sapronov was born in 1953. From 1986 to 1991 he worked in the Central Committee of the CPSU as instructor and head of the financial and budgetary department of the Administration; from 1993 to 2001 he led Russkiy Mir Company. From 2001 to 2005 he was Vice-President of YUKOS RM. In July 2005 he was appointed Vice-President of Rosneft.
