Alexander Sapronov has been appointed Rosneft’s new Vice-President. He formerly held the position of YUKOS Vice-President (Transportation and Logistics). In his new post, Mr. Sapronov will coordinate processing and sales logistics.

Alexander Sapronov was born in 1953. He is a graduate of the Russian Institute of Law and the Russian Academy of Management. Before joining YUKOS, Mr. Sapronov was the Deputy Head of the RF Federal Committee for Antimonopoly Policy and Support of New Economic Structures (1994-1995) and Russky Mir (1995-2001).
