Sergei Karaganov, Rosneft’s former HR Department Director, has been appointed as the company’s Vice-President. He will be in charge of HR and social policy issues in his new post.

Sergei Karaganov was born in 1958. In 1981 he graduated in mechanical engineering from the Khabarovsk Polytechnic Institute. In 1998 he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Khabarovsk State Technical University.

Sergei Karaganov’s career has taken him from the position of mechanic in the Department of Construction Mechanization and Transport of the Sakhalinspetsneftestroi trust in the town of Okha, Sakhalin Oblast, to the head of the HR Department in Rosneft-Sakhalinmorneftegaz, and subsequently to the Director of Rosneft’s HR Department.
