Tankers of the Primorsk Shipping Corporation are going on to supply remote territories of the Russian Far East with fuel. Andrey Sychev, Director of PRISCO Fleet Department reported m/t “Roschino” had delivered nearly 3,000 tons of oil products to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and is now going to native port – Nakhodka. M/t “Belogorsk” has made three voyages to Magadan and transported nearly 9,000 tons of light oil. PRISCO seafarers have to work in heavy ice conditions near northern coasts as ice-breaker “Krasin” which usually provides ice assistance to vessels during winter navigation is used for Antarctic expedition and less powerful ice-breaker “Magadan” is used instead of it. From the beginning of winter navigation m/t “Svobodny” for the second time has delivered diesel oil to Vityaz Marine Terminal for its needs. Now the tanker is in Nakhodka and its crew is preparing for the next voyage to Vityaz. Two tankers “Partizansk” and “Angarsk” of 3,000 tons dwt. each are transporting fuel at Sakhalin route from Nakhodka to Korsakov. In island ports PRISCO tankers also have to work in difficult ice conditions. Crew of m/t “Partizansk” is to stand one more test: from Nakhodka the tanker will go to Magadan.
