Transportation of bulk liquid cargoes by PRISCO vessels

For a month and a half of the year 2005 vessels of the Primorsk Shipping Corporation have transported 2,721,000 tons of cargoes. 2,377,000 tons of oil and oil products were transported by the offshore fleet tankers and 344,000 tons by the domestic fleet. Aframaxes Primorye, Sakhalin Island and Governor Farkhutdinov provide main transportation volumes. Totally from early January they have delivered 629,000 tons of fuel. M/t Sakhalin Island from its putting into operation last May has already transported more than 1,5 mln of oil. M/t Governor Farkhutdinov entered PRISCO fleet in September 2004 has transported nearly 950,000 tons of liquid cargoes and now it is prepared to take aboard the millionth ton of oil. Both newbuildings transport crude oil from Russian Primorsk to the European ports. For a month and a half of the year 2005 Governor Farkhutdinov has already transported more than 300,000 tons of hydrocarbon raw materials from the Baltic port. Two PRISCO tankers Marchekan and Monneron of 45,000 tons dwt. are under loading in Amsterdam and Istanbul. M/t Moskalvo of the same deadweight is transporting oil products between ports of the North America. 4 tankers Eniseysk, Gornopravdinsk, Igrim and Kamensk-Uralskiy each of 17,000 tons dwt are now working on the Far Eastern routes. From the beginning of 2005 these Samotlor type tankers with ice-strengthened hulls have transported more than 100,000 tons of Sakhalin oil from Khabarovsk port De-Kastri.
