New tanker of Primorsk Shipping Corporation “Governor Farkhutdinov” of 108 000 DWT put out from the shipyard “Brodosplit” for the first time. The tanker was named after Igor Pavlovich FARKHUTDINOV untimely deceased in the prime of life. In such a way the management of Corporation decided to revere the memory of the former governor of Sakhalin region and to point to his contribution to the development of Sakhalin and the Far East economics. “Governor Farkhutdinov” has double hull and 1C ice class according to DNV classification, the most up-to-date equipment and satisfies all requirements necessary for the transportation of goods in the North, in ice-bound and bad weather conditions. The tanker will join the pool of TORM and AP MOLLER’s tankers.
