Tankers of the Primorsk Shipping Corporation go on to deliver cargoes to the North within the frames of the Arctic navigation. Valeri Petrashov, Deputy Director of PRISCO Fleet Department said this summer five tankers with ice-strengthened hulls take part in North transportation: Three of them “Belogorsk”, “Guryev” and “Roschino” are of 3,000 tons dwt and two tankers of Samotlor type “BAM” and “Vilyuysk”are of 17,000 tons dwt. Tanker “Belogorsk” is delivering oil products from Nakhodka to Chukotka for the second time in this Arctic navigation. After voyage to Anadyr m/t “Vilyuysk” is going to the North with oil products. Now this tanker of 17,000 tons dwt. will deliver fuel to Provideniye. Tanker “Guryev” is used at the most difficult phase of North navigation – transportation of oil products delivered from Nakhodka to Chukotka port-points. Tanker has delivered fuel to Sireniki, Enurlin and Nunlingran. After discharging in Provideniye and Egvekinot tanker “Roschino” is coming back to Nakhodka for loading. It is planned to go to Magadan. M/t “BAM” has delivered approximately 14 00 tons of fuel to Anadyr and Egvekinot. Totally this summer PRISCO vessels are planned to deliver nearly 80,000 tons of oil products to the North.
