The mediation meetings are held by the Federal Tariff Service (FTS) from May to June.

The Chief of the IDGC of North-West Tariff Formation Department Valentin Chesnokov and managers of the financial and economic sectors of the company’s branches today, on 2 June, participate in the work of the mediation meeting held by the Federal Tariff Service (FTS) of Russia and devoted to setting marginal levels of electric power tariffs for 2010.

Besides, representatives of the Russian Federation constituent entities’ executive authorities take part in the work of the meeting in the field of tariffs state regulation.

Within the framework of the fixed time-limits, the regulators' proposals will be presented, and power companies representatives' reasons brought in protection of the economic substantiation of expenses will be heard.

For the purposes of approval of marginal tariff levels for 2010, documented investment and production programs and other documents are submitted for consideration of the FTS. In opinion of the regulating body, they are required for substantiation of tariffs at calculation of marginal levels of the tariff for 2010.

Information. According to Federal Law No.41 "On state regulation of tariffs for electric and thermal energy in the Russian Federation", FTS of Russia shall approve marginal levels of tariffs for electric energy delivered to consumers within the time determined by the Government of the Russian Federation.
