Performance of the investment program for six months of this year has equalled 106.1 %.

IDGC of the North-West has summed up performance of the investment program of the distributive network companies for six months of 2007.

The sum of RUR 1 358 680 thousand, or 106,107 % from the planned volumes of investments, was invested in the network complex of the region since the beginning of the year.

The distributive grid companies belonging to the zone of responsibility of IDGC of the North-West went ahead of the plan on reconstruction and modernization of transmission lines. Works on reconstruction of 22711,19 km transmission lines have been performed since the beginning of the year, that is greater than the scheduled task by 34.5 %.

Work on retooling, modernization, and reconstruction of power facilities allowed to provide 87.653 MVA of additional capacity. It was originally planned that this indicator should be increased only to the level of 36.96 MVA for the first half year of 2007. Considering sharp need for increase in capacity of the power grid for connection of new consumers, further development of the industrial sector and business, powermen exceeded all expectations.

The results of Novgorodenergo work for the half year are the most outstanding:  63.393 MVA of additional capacity were provided for the six months of this year. Reconstruction of 23.39 km transmission lines was completed within the limits of the investment program in the power grid complex. Novgorod power engineers have invested RUR 205.2 million in the development of the network complex since the beginning of the year.

Vologda transmission lines reconstruction is the quickest. Since the beginning of the year, the works on transmission lines with a length of 71.13 km were performed, that is 312 % from the volumes planned originally. Vologda powermen have spent RUR 201,8 million within the limits of the investment program since the beginning of the year.
Pskovenergo (148 %) , Komienergo (126 %), Arkhenergo (105 %) also excelled in performing the scheduled indicators of planned targets on reconstruction of transmission lines as of the end of the half year.

Now the zone of responsibility of JSC IDGC of the North-West includes JSC Arkhenergo, JSC Kolenergo, JSC Karelenergo, JSC AEK Komienergo, JSC Novgorodenergo, JSC Pskovenergo, JSC Vologdaenergo, and JSC Yantarenergo.
