The Administration of Novgorod Region expressed readiness to render aid and assistance in solving these questions.
Sergey Titov, General Director of JSC “IDGC of the North-West”, and Sergey Mitin, Governor of Novgorod Region, discussed questions related to reliable functioning of power supply complex in the autumn/winter season. Vice-Governor Arnold Shalmuev also participated in the Meeting held in Veliky Novgorod on the 12 of March.

The parties emphasized importance of cleaning, maintenance and possible extension of crosscuts along electricity transmission lines to ensure reliable power supply in the periods of unfavorable weather conditions. The Administration of Novgorod Region expressed readiness to render aid and assistance in solving these questions.

At the meeting the parties also discussed negative tendencies in growing debt of sales companies for electricity supplied. It was noted that timely energy payments are the requirement of consistent power supply.
