The analytical partner of “Medial-presentation. Innovation of 2009” contest is the Adam Smith Institute.

At the end of the fifth anniversary Corporate Presentation Day for IDGC of North-West the organization committee of CPD declared the winners in three nominations of “Medial presentation. Innovation of the year ” contest. The contest is carried out during the whole first year of CPD work, the contest experts committee consisting of the members of the organization committee of CPD and the representatives of the Adam Smith Institute, considered all the presentations of 120 companies-producers of the materials and equipment for fuel and power complex represented at CPD. Georgiy Turlov, Organization Committee Chairman, gave the memorable diplomas to the winners.     

Tyco Electronics, the participant of CPD-1 is “Best presentation” nomination winner. During the first corporate presentation day the company represented the presentation “Cable reinforcement” for the capacity up to 110 kV and the system of the insulation increase.

“Tavrida Electric SPb”, the participant of three CPDs is the winner in the “Effective partner” nomination. According to CPD-4,  they took the decision concerning putting into operation of the two vacuum circuit breakers of 35 kV made by “Tavrida Electric” in Kola power system and at substation 36 in Murmansk. “Tavrida Electric” specialists took part in reconstruction of 110/10 kV “Ploskoye” substation in Gryazovetskiy district of the Vologda Region and substation “Tsentralnaya” (Vologda). In 2007 in Northern electric grids of “Kolenergo” they substituted 56 oil circuit breakers by the vacuum BB/TEL of 6-10 kV ones, supply and installation of which was carried out by the specialists of “Tavrida Electric”.

TPK “Energouchet”, participant of two CPDs is the best in the nomination “Creative decision within the framework of CPD project”. In October of 2009 the group of “Energouchet” companies represented for the needs of “Komienergo” branch of IDGC of North-West  the block complex transformer substations concrete covered for the completion in the grid complex of the Republic of Komi of two transformer substations of 6/0.4 and one of 10/0.4 kV. This is the first identical experience of IDGC of North-West when the external BKTP was made in the company style, together with this, the consumer by his/her own initiative offered in the factory conditions to paint the faces of new substations with the images not increasing the equipment cost.

“Komienergo” branch of IDGC of North-West got the diploma of the most active participant of CPD. This branch actively implements the developments represented during the CPDs.

We shall mention that the fifth anniversary CPD of IDGC of North-West will take place on December 8 in St Petersburg in the territory of “Vselennaya Vody” (Water Universe). The carrying out of CPD is initiated by Georgiy Turlov, Chief Engineer of IDGC of North-West with the support of the scientific and research board of the company. For the year prior to the life of the project within the framework of the new format of the dialogue with the equipment consumers of the materials, works and services for the electric grid complex, all the innovative developments were represented by the power engineers of 120 companies working in the sphere of fuel and energy complex. Among them are Russian and foreign companies as well as the representatives of modern enterprises.
