For today, four out of seven branches of the united company have direct contracts with consumers signed on conditions of 50% revenue.

The results of the contractual work of IDGC of North-West on signing direct contracts were presented by Alexander Mikhalkov, Deputy General Director for Development and Services Selling, at the latest meeting of heads of the Interregional Distribution Grid Company.

According to the united company's top manager, for today, four out of seven branches of IDGC of North-West have direct contracts with consumers on conditions of 50% revenue. They are "Vologdaenergo", "Karelenergo", "Komienergo" and "Kolenergo". The share in the revenue on the conditions of the signed direct contracts is from 53 up to 0.04%.

According to Alexander Mikhalkov, since 2010 IDGC of North-West plans stage-by-stage transition to direct contracts with consumers.

The special place in the report of Deputy General Director for Development and Services Selling of the united company was given to the issues of the organization of work of electric energy measuring.

According to the information presented at the meeting of heads in "Komienergo", as to all branches of the company (taking into account JSC "Pskovenergoagent"), the number of points of electric power measuring exceeds 1.7 million. 65% of them are household consumers, the others are the persons legally equated to them. The number of the personnel involved in electric power measuring exceeds 1,600 people.

In 2008 the volume of electric energy transmitted through the networks was 42,437 million kWh; the share of IDGC of North-West in the market of the network services is 79%. The volume of losses does not exceed normative parameters and was 6.7% or 3,062 million kWh. 

The united company incurs material expenses for payment of electric power measuring services. In the 1st half of the year 2009, the business plan assigns 284.1 million rubles for these purposes.

Within the limits of the program for cost reduction, IDGC of North-West plans to minimize these expenses by carrying out some organizational actions.

Alexander Mikhalkov delivered these proposals at the meeting of heads in Komi. Today they are studied in the branches.
