State ethnographical history and architecture open-air museum “Kizhi” applied for technological connection to power grids of “Karelenergo” branch of IDGC of North-West.
According to technological department information of IDGC of North-West, the required capacity accounted for 4 MW.
Nowadays, open-air museum “Kizhi” is going through active reconstruction. Within the framework of the fire safety ensuring of the unique architectural complexes all the objects in the territory of the open-air museum are switched to power heating system. To implement the activities directed to the preservation of the Kizhi churchyard ensemble and infrastructure development of state ethnographical history and architecture open-air museum “Kizhi” the additional capacity is required.
At present the preparation to the agreement signing with open-air museum “Kizhi” for technological connection to power grids of “Karelenergo” branch of IDGC of North-West is carried out.
The project financing is carried out in accordance with the order of the Russian Federation Government within the framework of the sustainable power supply provision to universal and cultural heritage objects located on Kizhi Island.
