IDGC of North-West General Director Alexander Kukhmai will take part in Energopromservice-2008 tenth anniversary Prague international power conference, that will take place from 9 to 11 October, 2008, in Prague.

The agenda issues of the Conference vary a lot: nuclear and thermal power, new approaches in construction of power stations; construction of grid facilities; maintenance service of grid facilities; organization of electric power supply of industrial enterprises; alternative sources of electric power.

Veniamin Pinkhasik, who headed up IDGC of North-West till 1 July, 2008, was also invited to take part in the conference.  He will make a report on the principles of acceleration of the substations reconstruction process in towns with a population of over 200 thousand people.

Energopromservice conference was organized by IEM-GROUP holding company. Each year the heads of the outstanding Russian power companies that regularly participate in the conference – come to Prague: FGC, UES and IDGC; representatives of the Ministry of Energy Industry; representatives of Moscow, St.Petersburg,  Ekaterinburg, Tyumen and Surgut administrations; experts of plants that produce equipment; builders, assemblers and scientists.

The conference aims at presentation of new ideas and design solutions to the representatives of the grid companies, exchange of experience, negotiating and regulation of relations within the grid industry and between the grid and other industries.
