March 17-21, “ Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC had its EMS audited per ISO
14001:2004. It was inspected by experts of the Czech certification
authority CQS which makes part of the international certification
network IQNet.

The auditors visited Butyl Rubber, PS, Styrene and Polyether Resin
Plants, Welding Centre, Ethylene Pipeline Systems, Rail Transport,
Energy Supply, Capital Construction Divisions, as well as the Company's
Environmental Department.

Within the framework of the inspecting audit, a certification domain was
extended: there was certified an EMS of a newly established division
"Energy Station".

The audit confirmed compliance of EMS with ISO 14001:2004, and will
result in a certificate with an extended domain certification.
