5 July 2006, Vladimir Busygin, General Director of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC, and Roberto Paella, General Director of “Polimeri Europa”, signed a License Agreement on ABS-plastics process technology.
“Polimeri Europa” offered one of the most state-of-the-art, environment-friendly and cost-effective process technologies to produce that type of plastics. License Agreement being implemented, design work and equipment procurement for the new complex will be arranged.
An ABS-plastics production facility is one of the promising projects in the Company’s strategic program. It will be located at the PS Plant site.
ABS-plastics is a high impact plastic based on acrylonitrile copolymer with butadiene and styrene. It is applied for manufacturing radio and TV frames, automobile, refrigerator, furniture parts.
