Within June 27-July 1, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC hosted a delegation of “Borealis Polymers Oy” from Finland led by General Manager Johan Brenner. Foreign guests were accompanied by I. Finish experts came to discuss a bilateral cooperation in the context of the international program “Responsible Care”.
During a visit, there were held negotiations with NKNK General Director V. Busygin, where the Parties discussed cooperation opportunities and preparedness of the Company to join in “Responsible Care”. Guests also toured the Production Facilities, met with the petrochemical personnel. Mr Y. Brenner and the Finish experts made a presentation of their company and dwelt on the experience in implementing “Responsible Care” at their company.
Let us remind you that pursuant to a special Russian-Finish Program Agreement signed last year, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC is a pilot company for implementing “Responsible Care”. According to Sh. Nadyrshin, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC Deputy Chief Engineer, the Company’s current management system for safety engineering and labor protection complies with a “Responsible Care” program in many ways.

Joining in “Responsible Care”, planned for the year 2008, will enable NKNK to enter into an elite community of chemical industries and meet the international requirements for labor protection, safety engineering and environmental safety.
