“Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC won Grand Prix in nomination “Energy-Saving Technologies & Equipment” for devising and implementing a commercial process of one-stage synthesis of isoprene, per the results of XIII International Exhibition “Oil, gas. Petrochemistry 2006” held in Kazan on September 6-8.

A one-stage synthesis process enabled to reduce 1.7 times the heat energy consumption rates per one ton of isoprene, to significantly improve the ecological indicators: waste water discharge reduced 4 times, amount of harmful substances with gas emissions reduced 5 times.

Altogether, the Exhibition hosted more than 200 companies and organizations from Russia and abroad.
