This competition became a tradition at our Joint-Stock Company and its purpose is to draw the Company’s young employees to deal with current production challenges by means of creation and implementation of innovative proposals and designs.

The number of Company’s young innovators increases steadily from year to year: in 2002 they accounted only for 9% of the total number of innovators and inventors, and in 2009 - as high as 37%.

133 papers of 38 authors were presented for the contest and 13 of them became candidates for the title of “The Best Young Innovator of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim”. The majority of advantageous proposals of young petrochemical specialists is aimed at handling problems of cost saving, improvement of production quality, raw materials and natural and energy resources saving.

A. Savelyeva, Engineer of Quality Control Department, was declared the winner in this category, D. Shikun, Software Engineer of Synthetic Rubber Plant, was the runner-up, and V. Kamynin, Mechanical Engineer of Polystyrene Plant, became the third in the contest.

7 teams took part in the contest “The Best Youth Creative Team”, and 12 projects were submitted for the competition “The Best Engineering Solution”. The champions and winners were awarded honorary diplomas and cash bonus.
