Shares of NLMK Group, an international steel company with operations in Russia, the United States, and Europe were raised to the First Level quotation list, the premium listing segment for securities admitted to trading on the Moscow Exchange.
A First Level listing means that a company must meet the high standards of corporate governance, market capitalisation and trading volume.
Grigory Fedorishin, NLMK CFO, said:
“A premium listing for NLMK shares increases their liquidity and investment appeal; and substantially expands the range of potential investors. It is a result of NLMK's consistent efforts aimed at improving its corporate governance framework and practices.”
