According to the results of studying the practice of implementing corporate, social and environmental policies of the “Rosseti” Group, the FTSE Russell included securities of PJSC “Rosseti” in the FTSE4Good Emerging Index as part of the index update in June 2017.
The FTSE Russell is engaged in development and calculation of global stock indexes based on the world-recognized criteria of sustainable development.
The FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to attract investments in socially responsible companies that comply with international standards in the field of corporate, social and environmental policies. All issuers whose securities are included in the FTSE4Good Indexes meet strict criteria for assessing the practice in these areas.
The inclusion of securities in FTSE4Good will allow PJSC “Rosseti” to expand the range of international investors focused on socially responsible investing, and attract the ESG funds for which the social responsibility of companies is a key factor in making investment decisions.
